IRON RIVER

Iron River is the first of a series of tracks that released as Neon Diffraction. These tracks are either drum and bass, or include the use of AI. In this case both - its drum and bass and the vocal in this was created using AI. I’ve decided to embrace the use of AI in music in some cases, but to be totally transparent about its use. If you hate the idea of AI in music then don’t listen to it, but don’t be fooled into thinking this some how made this track either quicker or easier to produce. In fact, quite the opposite is the case with these blues influenced drum and bass tracks. Getting AI to actually sound good is surprisingly tricky.

RAGING BLUE

DEMARCUS LEWIS - FAVORITE PLACE (REMIX)

DeMarcus Lewis’s original track Favorite Place is a deep house classic out on Houph. Houph asked me to do a remix, and my version has a slightly mellower edge than the original whilst still keeping with the Houph sound that they’re becoming so famous for. Currently out on promo only at Traxsource:

ROUNDING THE DIGITS

The is a rolling instrumental deep house track. For some reason this one took months to write, but I think it came out really well. The release has a great remix by Peter Mac.

QUIET IN THE CITY

This is a fairly chilled, melodic, deep house track released on Housebeat Records. I wrote this after spending days walking around central London working during lockdown listening to house music.

THE SPOOKS

The Spooks is my first release on Houph. Its a funky deep house track, with a spooky halloween influence. The release also features a great remix by Dallomo. The original was selected by Beatport as a “Best New Hype Deep House” track, and the track also featured on Houph’s “Houph Halloween” compilation:

WHAT MAKES YOU?

A PIECE OF ME

“A Piece of Me” is slightly more progressive than my usual deep house and is a beautiful track with sweet, reflexive and rhythmic melodies, a deep and percussive groove and a melancholic vocal, telling the story of a lost love.

CRANBORNE NIGHTS

Cranborne Nights is on the techier end of deep house and was completely produced in about three hours. So it’s a bit more raw than usual, and it captures an individual moment. This track was released on Oversoul Records.

AS I LOOK AT YOU (REMIXES)

“As I Look At You” was released on Oversoul Records in 2019 and it remains a classic summer house track, rich with warm latin influences. The original reached number 12 in the deep house charts, and was a Beatport Hype Pick. This latest release includes two amazing remixes by outstanding producers Daniele Cucinotta and Deep2Tech, together with the original and the b-side ‘After the Dew’.

BJORN SALVADOR - THE BEAT (REMIX)

Neon Transmission’s Remix of Bjorn Salavadors’s track The Beat features on the main release of the track. The track has a great vocal, and the style is a little more filthy than usual with a bouncing combination of a spicy bassline and chunky groove.

DANIELE CUCINOTTA - NO GOOD FOR ME

(NEon Transmission REMIX)

The Neon Transmission Remix of Daniele Cucinotta’s track No Good For Me features on the six track remix release. There’s a variety of styles on the release from Tech House through to classic house, but the Neon Transmission Remix is deep house.

The track was featured in Beatport’s “Best New Deep House Hype Chart: February”.

AS I LOOK AT YOU

“As I Look At You” is a two track EP of latin influences house. Both tracks were written in a single warm summers day on a laptop in the garden, and that has given the tracks a wonderful chilled vibe.

“As I Look At You” is available on Beatport exclusively. It reached number 7 in the Electronica/Downtempo Chart, number 12 in the Deep House Chart, and was selected as a Beatport Deep House “Hype Pick”.

LATITUDE ONLY

Latitude Only is a two track EP of melodic/progressive house. These tracks are based around complex evolving sythesised arpeggios. The title track has an intense and slightly psychedelic vibe. The second track “Nice Weather for Arps” is similar but a little more relaxed.
